The Royston and Saffron Walden National Trust Association is a voluntary association
of National Trust Members and was founded in 1985 to promote and prosper the work of the National Trust.
Non-NT members are also very welcome to join the Association. Attendance at our meetings and outings will give
them an insight into the National Trust and may even prompt them to join the NT, although there is no obligation.
We currently have just under 200 members from the two main towns as well as from the adjoining
villages in Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
Our objectives are to promote the

Among the National Trust properties that we support financially are

Many of our members provide volunteer support for the National Trust by working as
Room Guides or in the garden at Wimpole Hall or Anglesey Abbey.
Help on the farm, or in the garden, or serving in the shop or the bookshop
would also be welcomed.
Royston and Saffron Walden Association is independent of the National Trust and is
governed by a constitution common to all the charity's centres and associations.
Our affairs are conducted by a committee
of officers and members who are elected at our
annual general meeting each year.
